Excuse my French
$#*@!!
I remember this time of year when results were out. My O’s and A’s are not my proudest qualifications. I still feel like crying when I tell people what I had gotten for them. Even more so when they don’t believe me. Ingat aku ni pandai sangat kah? HAHA. Yea, yea, I sound like a smart ass most of the time kan? Macam tin kosong. So embarrassing. But anyway!
I just read Nees’ post (the one who disappeared off the public blogging scene and embraced Multiply’s blog posts for certain users only), and she passed her A levels with seriously flying colours!! One A, and two Bs!! REALLY NOW. I just feel so proud of her. Hee. CONGRATULATIONS!!
My cousin, Qil, also passed her A levels, and congratulations to her! Her brother, Mamat, attained 7 O’s! So congratulations to you both, I’ll be expecting you to pay for my food in two different dinners/luncheons. Hahaha. Maybe just a movie on a Saturday night, yea? ![]()
To my other cousin who did not do so well, dust yourself off, dear brother. It’s better to fall now than when you are up so high. Hugs. You know you’re one of our favourites! You’ll do well in the future. InshaAllah.
So, people. If your sons and/or daughters didn’t do so well, don’t be so hard on them. Search the Internet, they may have a blog and be all angry and depressed because you’re just not satisfied with their 5 O’s. There is always hope.
I am a great example of that.

I still can’t believe the A myself but sigh, alhamduliilah.. alhamduliilah.

Same. I feel lucky that back in my days results are not posted in the internet so it kinda save me from embarrassment.

Nees, you’re welcome! An A, in Economics no less, is a very great feat! Congratulations again!!
Nonnie, back when my O’s were out, I had a blog already and I embarrassed myself, I think. That was when my blog name changed to *insert cringe-worthy blog name here*.
*shivers*

Eh, are you talking about when I hosted you? When your blog name started with C? Or just before that? You had far too many blogs, hehe.

That point is true!I’m an example too. I was depressed with my 1st attempt but I did it the next time. And I’ve just recently completed my HND!

Glad that I didn’t have a blog yet back then, in my teens. I actually sounded off like you when I didn’t get stellar results for my Os/As when I was in this ‘elite’ school. “Nah nampak tah kamu ni nah aku ani inda jua pandai banar” Proud lagi tu. Salah salah haha. Kinda regret that I never took my As seriously but it is what is nyeh.

Dhil, awu! Hahaha. I feel like it was such a bad blog name. I still cringe when I think back on it. Banar! I did have one too many blogs, didn’t I? Haha.
Gokil, I think the moral of the story is to never give up! Congratulations on the HND!! I just completed mine around a year ago!
War, haha.. I was told that I was a bright student when I was in primary school, but I think things went a bit off tangent when I didn’t really know what I wanted to do in life. It’s all right. I hated my A’s, and I never want to go back, even if they paid me a million dollars to get minimum 3E’s. HAHA.

You’re right! “Do not give up”

You’re right! “Do not give up”: that’s the best thing to do! Thanx you for the congratulatory (ngam kah?) message! Hehe

Curious.. what did you get for your A’s?

Also, what uni did you get into?

Nadia, as much as I don’t want to reveal it, as it is embarrassing as hell, but I scored only 1 A Level. Lowest grade you can get. I got into ITB, one of the best institutions, in my opinion, and I now have a HND in Information Systems so I can forget about my A’s. Haha.
