The Spiderwick Chronicles and Ken Lee
I just came back from the cinema with 12 other people, and we watched The Spiderwick Chronicles. Being a kid-fantasy-movie buff, the genre in which makes me feel like I’m six and still believe that fabulously magical things exist, I LOVED IT. It was funny, scary, sad.. I loved Thimbletack and Hogsqueal. The funniest characters! One line I remember quite correctly, from Thimbletack was, “I die. You die. We die. Bye bye.” FUNNY! You really have to watch this movie. One of the movies I will surely remember. Rating: 4.5 out of 5.
Next movie on the list: Horton Hears A Who. Trailers looks mighty hilarious!

I cannot wait to see Spiderwick Chronicles. My daughter will be 5 in a couple weeks and she’s obsessed with seeing it. I’m not sure how kid friendly for a 5 year old it is? Any advice?

Shasha, this video is just too funny! I think American Idol (in its preliminary auditions) is missing this kind of funny this season.
Eff, I haven’t had the chance yet! Everyone says it’s hilarious. I hope I don’t put high hopes on it and end up disappointed!

Ranee, I think it’s quite all right for a 5-year-old. It’s entertaining, and it should really appeal to kids. Have fun!
