It’s already the end of April. Tomorrow’s going to be one of my good friends’ birthday, Hamizah. (I know you’re reading, so before I forget — like I did Amal’s [SORRY!! ] — HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY, OLD PAL! )

That said, my birthday is coming soon. Next Friday. It’s scaring me. Especially if I’m left with my own thoughts.. I didn’t realize the time flew by just like that, and I’m going to be 23 soon. It’s not turning 23 that scares me (not too bothered with age), but it’s.. I don’t know. It’s scary how the year went by so fast. And I worked for three different employers in the span of six months.

I guess having to lose someone less than two weeks after you turn 22 makes you feel like the year didn’t happen.

Have you watched the movie, The Number 23? Jim Carrey starred in it. It’s quite good. Anyway. I have a story. I like to call it The Number 22 (how original.) OK, I’m kidding. It’s just something that I noticed a few months after my dad passed away.

Last year, when my dad passed, I turned 22. On the brink of his passing, he was at the emergency, initially in room 22. He passed away the same day, which was 22nd May. Spooky. OK, not really. Just felt like sharing anyway.

On a serious note. My birthday is next week. Friday. May 9th. Mark it on your calendars. I’ll be expecting presents that day. Online shopping vouchers is a plus, since I’m always browsing online, gatal kan membali and go over my credit card limit. OK, no, I’m kidding. You can just bring me out to a movie and dinner. I’ll be happy.

Haha. I change my mind. I might want a peace of mind. Just chill. With myself. Eek. I might rent a bouncer. Or a slide! I don’t know. I’m feeling like a ten-year-old when I think of birthdays.

I’m on a very random roll, aren’t I? More tomorrow. (Or the next day.)

P.S.: American Idol 7’s top 5 performances were a bit boring.
