Rocking on

Guess who got these babies yesterday?

Nintendo DS Lite in onyx and Guitar Hero: On Tour

Big thanks to RB for the good deal on the former, and Dina, Safwan, and friends for accompanying me to buy the GH: On Tour at EGM, who gave me a nice discount. I got them both at exactly B$250 only. A good 100-dollar difference or more there. Yeay!

The boyfriend wasn’t quite excited. Hehe. Razz

So here’s a small ‘review’: I LOVE IT! I’ve finished the easy level, and now currently undertaking the medium level. I wouldn’t have stopped if I didn’t have to recharge the batteries. Hahaha. I like the fact that it has tracks by No Doubt, Blink 182, Incubus, Maroon 5, and Smash Mouth to name a few. It’s easier to play the tracks when you know them.

The ‘Rock on!” feature is sort of cool. All in all, I think it was a very good buy, and well worth the money. (Even though there will be no more major purchases in July, if I can help it. Haha.)

Stop making me feel like I’m 10

I really hate being dramatic and all, but today has to be one of the worst days of 2008. By normal standards, it really isn’t, but I think it’s the hormones talking. I don’t want to talk about it, but at the same time I want to. But I just don’t like giving things away.

Even seeing the price of Guitar Hero: On Tour being B$98 didn’t cheer me up.

Unbelievable

Can you believe this; my boyfriend has a Sun Jar all this while, and I didn’t know about it!?

“Me bali di Aussie,” he says. Grr. His is broken, though. He says he’ll take my Moon Jar away from me when he comes to visit because he needs it for his fishing trips. NO WAY. Razz

Don’t stare for too long

I got myself this, and got it delivered to her. Pretty little thing, isn’t it? It’s going to be in my hands by July, and judging how fast the time has gone for the past two months, it’s going to be here in no time! Grin

I know, I wanted to get a Sun Jar, but this was on offer! Spent B$45 plus shipping on this baby.

Things to ponder on

Fact: Tomorrow is payday. I’m already thinking of splurging on a spanking new Nintendo DS Lite and Guitar Hero: On Tour. The latter costs B$105 here in Brunei. I should be spending a good B$400 alone. And that would not leave me much for the rest of July, what with bills to pay. Ugh, just thinking about it makes me want to hurl. Or maybe that’s just the lunch talking.

Hm.

So. A lot has happened since the last update. Watched movies at the cinema and on DVDs, bought things online, got amused, fell in love, working until hours on end, formatted my office laptop, felt euphoric, missed a few people, etc.. May I just add: I absolutely LOVED Kung Fu Panda, found The Happening really boring, liked how I understood Inside Man. There’s just something about getting movies, y’know? Like you found light at the end of the tunnel. Hahaha. Sad.

Looking to what’s going to happen, instead of the past, I’m going to have a packed weekend, but I’m looking forward to it.

Is it already towards the end of June? Gasp. We’re past mid-2008! Neutral

Midweek laugh

President Bush, First Lady Laura and Dick Cheney were flying on Air Force One. George looked at Laura, chuckled and said, “You know, I could throw a $1,000 bill out of the window right now and make somebody very happy.”

Laura shrugged her shoulders and replied, “I could throw ten $100 bills out the window and make ten people very happy.”

Cheney added, “That being the case, I could throw one hundred $10 bills out of the window and make a hundred people very happy.”

Hearing their exchange, the pilot rolled his eyes and said to his co-pilot “Such big-shots back there. I could throw all of them out of the window and make 56 million people very happy.”

A Portuguese loss

Portugal lost against Germany 3-2. Frown

I was up to catch the live match, and was disappointed. I switched the TV off when Germany scored their third goal. I wasn’t expecting a Turkey-like comeback, so yea.

Oh well, HUP HOLLAND! Hahahaha. Wink

My colleague will have such a laugh. He told me it’ll be a German win. And it is.

Força Portugal!

I’m supporting Portugal for Euro 2008. I hate that they’re going against Germany in a couple of hours because I want Germany to be in the semi-finals too. On the other side of the tournament, I hope Netherlands will battle it out with Spain in the semi-finals. So we shall see.

I want Ronaldo’s national jersey.

I WANT!!!

Please, please, please?? I want! Frown

Buy Guitar Hero: On Tour for me here please. Hee.

The Impact of Family Meals On Adult Health

Here’s something for you to do if you haven’t, or you’ve got nothing to do (like yours truly.) It’s a questionnaire/survey, and I’ve completed and sent it back. So why not, right?

On another note, I’ve been on a Me To You teddies shopping spree. They were on sale, 50% discount, at Euro Classic Collection at the Centrepoint. How can I resist their ultimate cuteness and AWESOMENESS? God, I love Kung Fu Panda. I digress! I’ll put up pictures of my teddies (both bought for myself and given as gifts) when I’m not lazy.
