Leg cramps
I think yesterday was just not a great day for me. I had experienced my first leg cramp while I was climbing into my car on my way home. Note: my first leg cramp.
You know how footballers play on the field, and sometimes they have that look of hellish pain on their faces? I used to think they were being dramatic and wanted a free kick. Now, I beg to differ. IT HURTS MORE THAN IT LOOKS!! I was in my car for fifteen minutes, trying to not move myself and let my hands grab onto something like women in labour do.
Leg cramps. I don’t wish to have any more. I can still feel my calf muscle all sore this morning, and I had difficulty climbing the stairs to work. Ergh.

Wow, your first?! It must have been painful! I’ve had a lot (some say it has something to do with the salt level), so I kinda know what level of pain to expect.

Dhil: Yea, my first. Is it such a surprise? Hehe. It was really painful. I thought my foot was about to fall off! I hope I don’t get any more.
Ka Rina: Awu, ka, my first time getting a leg cramp. I don’t usually get menstrual cramp either, I’ve only had that one once too! I’m not sure about salt reduction, but I think my step aerobics was a bit too much.
I realized I my stamina in doing step exercises has increased, but my muscles didn’t follow suit. LOL. Selalunya I will stop have a small break before the hour is over pasal ngalih, but yesterday, I didn’t have much of a break (nya orang jangan inda wipe my sweat and drink water). I guess that’s it?
I still don’t know. But it hurrrrttsss!!
(And babu inda kurang lah urinya, especially since I’ve never had cramps before. Hahaha.)

eurghhh.. i know how that feels. yup, like dee said.. something to do with salt levels.
i’ve woken up in the middle of the night with them[end up rolling around on the floor in agony]
in fact, there was once where i was in a similar-ish situation as you…
i was in gadong one night, at around 10ish.. i was with my friends and we were about to leave in their 4wd. as i got into the car, it started to cramp up so my friends[all guys], tried to arrange me in a position where they could stretch my leg out and this was the most painful and uncomfortable one cos i was halfway into the car already.
so there i was shouting and screaming in pain[REALLY REALLY loudly, i might add..] and we were parked in a place that wasn’t so well lit[gadong was jam packed that night].. so passerbys thought something really dodgy was going on with very worried looks on their faces.
i wouldn’t like to know what they were thinking my friends were doing to me. haha.
sorry for the long comment. hehe have a nice weekend.

your first? haha serious? I’ve had it like gazillion times sudah..
regardless.. for leg cramps, straighten your legs, that’ll ease it..
and… add more lunges to your exercise.. hehe

Wow seems like alot of people have had them huh? I’ve never experienced one. So I don’t know how much pain you’re talking about heh. Makes me think there’s something wrong with me now haha. Anyway, why’d you have to climb the stairs to work? What’s wrong with the elevator? Oh oh you work at that place where they got like stairs when you come in from the parking basement right? Hehe ok.

Interesting to see that people are surprised that it’s my first. Haha.
Shasha: People have told me about those! They say it’s a pain. No pun intended. About the cramp in car bit, I know how you feel. I hadn’t got anyone to straighten out my cramp, but I think I wouldn’t want anyone to do anything, or I’ll put a slap on someone’s face. Haha. Have a great weekend yourself!
Muaz: I’m serious. Why do people find it so hard to believe? My mom actually thanked the heavens that I finally had one, because she jokingly said, “At least we know you move a lot now sampai ter-cramp.” Haha.
When I had that cramp, nothing logical came to mind. I just waited until the pain ebbed away.. Urgh. About lunges, before every routine, my instructors do lunges during warmup. Which I hate, because they’re boring. Hahaha.
War: Apparently so! LOL. Hopefully you’ll never have one, because it’s not something you’d want to experience. Hehe. I’m not working at the building with basement parking anymore. I’ve moved to the city (aiseh) where I have to climb the stairs to get to the office. I could use the elevator, but it’s only one floor, and I have to climb down a set of stairs to use them. It’s complicated.
Ka Rina: Hee. Thanks. It’s somewhat temporary. I still need to fix a few things. Thanks for the post, by the way!

[...] When I was finally able to sit up, I couldn’t stand up!! ARGH. The pain and agony. I never had this sort of back pain before, and my God, isn’t 2008 a great year of firsts. [...]
