I watched a movie today. It has been months since my last movie. I don’t even know when and what my last movie was. I watched Quarantine with Izzah after having lunch, and I was psyched. I seem to forget how dark it is in the cinema, and I was so scared! Not too scared to watch another zombie movie, though, but scared enough to scream in the cinema. The movie’s not too bad.

I’ve seen enough zombie movies on DVDs to conclude that zombie movies are meant to be enjoyed in the cinema, or a home theater system that is as good. I think if I have a house (and family) of my own, I would want to get a great home theater system so I could enjoy a great thriller at home. Although, I bet my future husbang will not be participating it. Thrillers in any form are not his thing.

Anyway. Next movie: Madagascar 2 with CIS20 tomorrow. Not expecting too much, but I hope I’ll have a good time.

I’ve also bought Saw 5 on DVD too, and Izzah couldn’t fathom why I like movies like Saw. Hehe. Razz

Anyway. My mom’s 50th birthday is on Monday, and I still haven’t got her anything. I really don’t know what to buy her this year. I honestly think I’ve used up my brain cells thinking about other things. Need more brain cells! Frown

Oh, no..

Craving for some Excapade sushi. Any takers?

Hunger pangs

Hungry at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta.

I’m now back from my training in Jakarta, and I must say, that city is quite a city. Some of the malls remind you of Miri, some others remind you of Singapore, but when you are in a taxi on the road, you are definitely in Jakarta! Some say it’s somewhat similar to the roads in Manila, but I haven’t been to the Philippines, so what do I know? Silly The traffic didn’t bother me much, but the driving did! I sometimes had to close my eyes because I was so scared that the taxi will get hit!

That aside, it was a great experience to be there, and I realize I could adapt to the language a bit, although my friend and I always had to excuse ourselves because we couldn’t understand what the locals were saying. They talk too fast for me to catch up. I even need English subtitles when watching Indonesian movies, OK? I’m that bad.

Sharing a room with my friend was great. I bet that if I had a room all to my own, I’d be scared stiff and sleepless. Or maybe just sleeping with all of the lights on. Haha. Our hotel itself wasn’t too shabby, either! I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the lobby, and then when we went up to our respective rooms.

Not bad, eh? It had ample space, good enough bathroom, and many channels on the TV. Not too keen on the water, though. It had a weird taste when I was brushing my teeth, so I resorted to using bottled water in the end.

All in all, it was a good trip. Minus a few (countable) bad moments, but it was fun.

I also brought back a lot of things, like Krispy Kreme doughnuts (which evaporated even before the week began), clothes, and batik souvenirs. Shopping is quite a delight there. Makes me want to go there again. LOL. Some places are quite cheap, if you know where to go.

Like in a zombie movie

Awake early on a Sunday morning, all because of a stupid nightmare. Been having nightmares for a while now, it’s bugging me not in a way that it scares me, but it wakes me up from sleep! Sometimes when I wake, I can’t go back to sleep, and that bugs me a lot. I value my sleep a lot, OK? Razz

Anyway, I’ve been having a few people adding me on Facebook, and they are the people who at some point shared the same school with me, but would never add them even though they were in the same school as I was. I just don’t know you well enough! Same class, sure, but not even recognizing me as someone you know in the hallway? That just doesn’t add up.

That silly little rant aside, I’m making my way to Jakarta tomorrow for a few days’ worth of training. Last week, before it was approved, I was excited up until a few hours after it was approved, but when I got home yesterday, I felt like I was too tired to go to Jakarta. Macam nada mood. Frown

I have found that I hate to pack, because sometimes I just don’t know what to bring, and I don’t like making lists especially when my lazy mode kicks in.

I just need to sleep it off. I am exhausted, still, I think.

That’s not my name

A: Hi, Tini.
Me: Tini? My name’s Tina.
A: WHAT?! YOU LIED ABOUT YOUR NAME?!
Me: What are you talking about? My name is Tina!
A: You said your name was Tini.
Me: It’s Tina. It’s you who forgot my name is Tina.

This was, I think, the second or third time I talked to the boy who is now the love of my life. I’m his Tini. Heart

I don’t think it’s been that long since I last posted here. I find myself really detached from the online world. The only time I use the Internet is for work, the boyfriend, and the random blog-hop. Nothing too intense for a self-proclaimed Internet junkie like myself.

I’ve been really busy at work, especially the last two days. A big project that we’re working on is nearing submission, and it’s just like drinking juice from concentrate. It’s been a real heck of a ride. I’ve never been a big fan of any forms of reports and documentation, so I’m really glad we’re nearing to the end of this thing.

I’M EXHAUSTED!

Hopefully, I’ll have something to look forward to next week. I’ll talk about more about next week if it’s confirmed. Grin

The Food Diaries

The boyfriend is keeping a food diary, and I decided to keep one too! From yesterday’s food consumption, I can see I am eating healthier than he is. LOL.

My mood is back up! Yeay!

And that “Apada” video is still making me chuckle.

Where did I go wrong?

Didn’t quite have a pleasant day today. Then again, I shouldn’t expect much on a Monday.

I’m thinking that it started yesterday.. I think I was expecting too much of the gathering at my aunt’s open house in KB, that I ended up disappointed. It didn’t help that it was raining early yesterday morning either. It made driving a pain.

As we left the house to KB, my mom informed me of the ‘bump’ that had happened when she brought my car to her office’s Raya celebration the night before. It was forgotten until we reached our aunt’s house, and up until we were packing up to go to our cousin’s house in Pandan. That was when I saw it. It was the same spot where I was hit the other day, and the paint was not chipped, it actually peeled.

I know this might sound really materialistic of me, but when you pay so much per month for a piece of metal, it had annoyed me. I understood that it was an accident, but it just annoyed me.

And then driving back was a bit difficult, as the highway was not lit, and I (as well as the other drivers, I imagine) had to depend on the red strips that illuminates when your headlights hit them. That proved to be rather confusing for me as I was going fast.

When we arrived home, it all went downhill. Things just didn’t go my way, even when I tried to be so optimistic.

It carried on to today, even after watching the funny Budi videos on YouTube. It just went on, and on, and on. Hopefully, I’ll have a good night’s sleep and wake up to a nice Tuesday morning.

Off to finish watching The Amazing Race now. Waiting

LOL of The Day: Whaazzzuuup (Bruneian style)

This made me laugh so hard!! I don’t know if you’ve watched the Budweiser adverts, but this was just too much!!

It cheered up my gloomy Monday. Laughing aloud (seorang diri) in the office is not a good sign.

If you need more cheering up, or you’re feeling worse than I am, then watch the bloopers.

My hats off to these guys. LOL. Laugh

Guess who?

Guess who I bumped into while I was in stepping into Muliadi’s open house (in Mulaut) yesterday? Her! Grin

So very nice to meet you! (After eight years of knowing each other! Grin )

On another note, I have acquired four more SingStar games. KB, here we come!! Party
