Lambada La Bamba

Once again, a big congratulations to one of my cousins, Nurul, on her wedding! You’re the first of us yang sepermainan to get married! Remember the days when we used to play carah, and whatnot? How did time fly by so fast, eh? You are someone’s wife now! Yeay! Wink

Sigh. So happy for you. Smile Have a swell time on your honeymoon!

As for myself, It’s been a dreadfully sleepy day today. Rather cranky it has made me. I don’t know why I’m sleepy, I thought I had enough rest yesterday. Huh.

Anyway. Loads have happened this week and the last. I’ve got pictures uploaded onto my FB, especially of Nurul and Latif’s wedding, and there are more to come. (For my cousin bloggers, get an FB account, and you can access the pictures. Or wait until I remember to hand over the link.)

I can’t wait for his version of the ceremonies, though.

Argh. So sleepy!!

Congratulations to my cousin, Nurul, for getting hitched last Friday!

So we’ve been busy with wedding preparations, especially next door, what with the baking of cupcakes and putting them into nifty boxes like the ones below:

Apologies for the quality of the picture. It was taken by my cousin’s camera phone, and I couldn’t be bothered to brighten the picture up. Yes, I was meant to look really excited, as the boxes were stacked up on the table to nearly my height. Colour co-ordinated, even. That’s pink, yellow, white, pink, yellow, and white, yes sir.

That’s the campur for tonight’s berbedak ceremony. Grin

Things at random

Before I resume normal posting, I’d like to convey my congratulatory message to one of my good friends, Nurul Siti, on the new arrival! It’s a boy! This is her second baby, so a big, hearty congratulations to you and your husband!

So I bought something from Wardrobes Inc. on Friday. OK, two somethings. They launched a program called “Feel Good Friday“, and I had the chance to buy a shirt (which I really just grabbed because it had fit me!!), and get another one free (which I had given my cousin, Siti, the privilege to choose something). I also bought a pair of shoes.

Support WDRB! Grin

Anyway. I’m happy that I can fit into most of my clothes nicely these days. I’m not losing any weight, trust me. I’ve just been keeping myself ridiculously healthy and, erm, un-slothlike.

My house was one of the houses that went through no electricity supply from about 3-ish in the afternoon, up until about 9-ish. My family and I didn’t spend the whole time at home, we went to my aunt’s house, and my cousins went there too to catch the Manchester United match with Chelsea. The team I was rooting for didn’t win, though. Pfft.

I’m off for now, I have something to do.

Excuse my French

$#*@!!

I remember this time of year when results were out. My O’s and A’s are not my proudest qualifications. I still feel like crying when I tell people what I had gotten for them. Even more so when they don’t believe me. Ingat aku ni pandai sangat kah? HAHA. Yea, yea, I sound like a smart ass most of the time kan? Macam tin kosong. So embarrassing. But anyway!

I just read Nees’ post (the one who disappeared off the public blogging scene and embraced Multiply’s blog posts for certain users only), and she passed her A levels with seriously flying colours!! One A, and two Bs!! REALLY NOW. I just feel so proud of her. Hee. CONGRATULATIONS!!

My cousin, Qil, also passed her A levels, and congratulations to her! Her brother, Mamat, attained 7 O’s! So congratulations to you both, I’ll be expecting you to pay for my food in two different dinners/luncheons. Hahaha. Maybe just a movie on a Saturday night, yea? Wink

To my other cousin who did not do so well, dust yourself off, dear brother. It’s better to fall now than when you are up so high. Hugs. You know you’re one of our favourites! You’ll do well in the future. InshaAllah.

So, people. If your sons and/or daughters didn’t do so well, don’t be so hard on them. Search the Internet, they may have a blog and be all angry and depressed because you’re just not satisfied with their 5 O’s. There is always hope.

I am a great example of that.
