So.. What’s up?

It’s been a while since I last posted, hasn’t it? Why? I’ve been on Twitter most of the time. Micro-blogging doesn’t really need proper sentences, and that’s cool. I miss updating my blog, though..

So what has happened? Not much. Life is pretty much the same, though my jeans are a bit loose, and I’m not looking forward to spend more money on clothes. I’ve spent a lot of my money on Threadless t-shirts, though. They’re very comfortable and cool for Brunei’s hot weather.

I’m settling in nicely with my new lifestyle, though I wish other aspects of my life would change. I guess I’m just going to have to wait for a few more months, and bear with it.

Anyway, I’ve shared this on Twitter and Facebook, but I’d just like to share this video, uploaded originally by someone I know from my aerobics classes. It’s sort of cool to see it on video.

Oh, and a follow-up from my last post, if you are planning on losing weight, don’t just eat a balanced diet. You will need to exercise! Everyday! If you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle, exercise at least 30 minutes per day. If you want to maintain a healthy lifestyle and lose weight, exercise at least 45 minutes per day. Remember, this is everyday. There is no use if you spend your three hours in the gym, but it’s only for a day in the week. You have to use up the calories you consume, so don’t forget your exercise! :)

My progress has been slightly slower than before, as I have only lost 3kgs after I’ve left KBS. But I have until September to reach my short-term target weight, which is another 3kgs. Here’s to hoping that I’ll make it!

Until next time! (For mini updates, follow me on Twitter!)

What I did

I am a very happy bunny today. I really am. At first I was nervous: today was my appointment with my KBS doctor. I was really nervous about what the weighing scale was going to say, and what my blood results from two weeks ago were going to show.

I was thinking that if I postponed breakfast until after I was done with the appointment, I would be lighter. Not much, but it will be something. I ended up having my usual breakfast, Honeycombs cereal, washed down with a mug of tea. Left the house, and ended up being 15 minutes early to my 8AM appointment.

Before the doctor came in, I had to weigh myself. My weight is still undisclosed to people I’m not close to, but I lost 7kgs in the span of 10 weeks. If I remember correctly, in the paper, for the quick-fix, slimming things that cost a bomb, will let you lose about the same amount in those 10 weeks. Luckily for me, I didn’t get to pay a thing, and I feel lots better having to have lost the weight naturally.

I’m not posting this just to gloat or brag about what I have achieved, but I am really happy about it, that is why I shared. Like, if I ever become a millionaire one day, I will share it, because I’d be happy about it. And in this instance, I am. :P

Anyway, I’ve been asked what my secret was. Here’s my secret: There is none. If you want to give it a try, I’ll share a thing or two with you.
